ALBANYS

The first Albany blood that I have today came from Odell Beam in Gladewater Texas. I got this blood around 1990. Mr. Odell said that his Albanys came from Johnny Moore and that he was at Mr. Moore's home when Mr. O'Connor brought the fowl to Mr. Moore. There was two cocks and three hens with one of the hens being spangled. Mr. Odell said all his Albanys he had came from those five birds.

Two years later, I got Albany blood from a friend, Boyd Daye, who lives in Northeast Oklahoma. Mr. Boyd said his Albanys were of the A.J. Houston bloodline. The Albany I breed today are from these two yards.
